long way home is hands-down my favorite of my fics. T-rated, pre-canon (compliant), about aone and futakuchi as first-years who meet under circumstances that could be better.
on being a natural disaster refugee (well, on trauma in general); on love, even when you’re the two strangest boys at school; on trust.
fics with plot
black nightshade is nearly 14k, built around an inarizaki which functions as a cohesive family of a team, and an aran who’s used to struggling with racism on his own, and desperately in love with kita shinsuke.
he develops a deadly-if-not-requited disease; his doctors don’t believe he has it, because it usually manifests on light skin as telltale dark veins. he’s too tired to fight, but he’s got other people in his corner, now and forever. this kita, like a lot of my characters, is autistic.
experimental
man. what can i even say about eggshell white. this was for the hq writers’ jukebox, after the mitski song humpty.
this is a fic about post-traumatic stress disorder. it is a fic about kageyama eating eight eggs a day, but under that it pulls both eggs and bodies and brains into their composite parts before assembling them into bigger, more complicated wholes.
it’s also an ushikage fic with a gentle, nsfw sequel; ushijima and kageyama are both autistic, and kageyama’s exact trauma is never disclosed.
rareship gold
each according to his ability is… kind of shippy? it’s very vaguely terukita, but either way, it’s a gentle two-way character study with some very lovely, rhythmic prose.
non-shippy
tatami stitch sketches out the datekō third-years as first-years. what it means to go to a technical school, class and otherwise. what it means to work with your hands in a way other students don’t. what it means to build the iron wall.

eggceeding eggspectations is two thousand words of msby & adlers crack. no pun intended (okay, maybe some puns intended).
underrated
email my heart is full of, well, heart and teenage first-crush romance between two of our most sincere and awkward boys. koganegawa and goshiki make it work!
spoofed the passphrase to your heart involves a daichi who is so not a cop that he in fact gets arrested. a charming, subversive easy-read romance in a very specific au.
mature & explicit

yet how deeply my body is stained by yours, as the title might suggest, is about poetry. it’s about takeda and how easily he disarms ukai; about ukai and how readily he trusts takeda, even with something like shibari. barely explicit, non-linear, two thousand words dense with absolute surrender.
fics with plot
slow like honey. well. iwaizumi/utsui (that’s ushijima’s dad, by the way). a really complicated, really queer cross-generation relationship, mediated by mirrors and being afraid of what others (or you) see in your relationship. also: sexual tension, the fic. the most excruciating of slow burns, packed into a 4k fic that spans ten years.
experimental
mouth-full was written in one sitting. it’s about trans ways of having sex, but it’s almost so desperately about trans4trans love that the smut is a side-effect.
rareship gold
wild onions was the first fic in the ushijima/moniwa/kita tag. dreamy, moniwa-perspective, about how they all fit together.
clerestory windows christened the aran/kuroo tag and boy is it hot. religious imagery, kuroo’s narrow fucking waist and aran’s massive fucking hands. that’s it, that’s the fic.
underrated
thrice is built in its entirety around my inability to believe that daishou is anything other than a submissive and a masochist, at least specifically for mika. mika perspective, taking him apart.
to quote a review: this reads like the most lecherous poem.
consent play
tempered steel my beloved. whumpy consensual-non-consent (rape roleplay), established ushijima/moniwa and aone/futakuchi relationships, with aone and futakuchi destroying ushijima and moniwa, crucially, putting him back together.
this is somehow also a character/relationship study and a found family fic? the catharsis is worth it, if this is up your alley.
okay, this is cheating a little. from the concrete is a series about trans people in a dystopia, in situations where consent is conditional (because, well, it’s a dystopia). i’m very proud of all of these fics; my most beloved readers assure me they’re hot and complicated and affirming and terrifying at the same time.
